To answer Jim’s question, here’s the full picture. I shot it with 100 mm micro 4/3 lens (200 mm full-frame equivalent). I was probably 15-20 feet away.

Just walked down to the lake to take a few pics. This is a cropped shot taken with Olympus’s new Hi-Res Handheld setting. With a 24 mega-pixel sensor, got a 40.5 megapixel picture. Goose stood still – lots of detail.
