You’ve a strong foreground with some eye catching color. The pilings lead the eye to the left naturally. I need to think…I’m intrigued about where this could go.
I’ve looked at those piling near Dismal Nitch a number of times, trying to envision a way to frame them so they are more interesting, and have never stopped for an attempt. I keep thinking there must be someway to make this interesting/tell a story, or something, but I have no idea how. Maybe if you could catch a boat in close to give the pilings some more perspective? In real life the size and number of pilings are impressive, but it is hard to get a photo to show that.
